We are working on doing a Memorial event over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend on Pensacola Beach at JELLY which Steve played at quite a bit for the past couple years. We are still working out details but you can email me or Hafid Atzel aka THE LIGHT to get on the group email of updated for this.

For the Pensacola FSM EDM crew, this has been extremely hard for us. This is the second time this has happened to someone so close to our Pensacola crew this past year. Many of us weren't even over the previous incident in April. In the short amount of time that he had lived here, he affected some many, so quickly. After finding out about his previous battles with de-pression, many of us spent all day Sunday looking for him with no avail. I was dreading the phone call I got yesterday afternoon and was hoping for different news. Such great creative talent lost to the dark abyss of depression. Still distraught and utterly shocked.

wow... im so sad right now. steve was like the friend who told you vile jokes to keep ya happy when u werent. talked to him a lot via PMs and IM's ... always made me shit my pants with his humor. i really hope that this has a positive effect on someone out there. cuz i know he was nothing short of a great soul who impacted people often in a great manner.

This is very very sad news .. from the posts Steve affected a lot of us and will be fondly remembered. My thoughts go out to his dear friends on here and so very importantly, the family he left behind.

Hopefully he's sitting up there in Heaven on a pair of CDJ's, surfing [ms] and considering his next wisecrack !

RIP Steve, you'll be sorely missed, but forever in our hearts.

How horribly sad I met him at WMC and he was a gentle soul in a big man. He was so nice, friendly and truly funny. I feel for those he left behind.
