Wow ... from some bass-heavy twisted shit to very light, very melodic, almost New-Age sounding. Very varied and cool. Boratto

I wasn't that impressed on 1st listen ... maybe I've been spoilt too much lately.sigpicSimonR
This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.Comment

Re: Gui Boratto - Take My Breath Away
That was the first impression as well but on further listening it just felt like he's letting the music speak for itself instead of his mad production skills if that makes sense. Especially on those more easy-listening numbers. I thought it reflected some maturity or confidence in letting the music come to the fore. Anyway probably not making sense, just had my first cup of coffee.

several vibes in Besides sounds quite relative to some melodies that The Cure would have dished out. sweet.(((( }-d|-__-|b-{ ))))Comment

Re: Gui Boratto - Take My Breath Away
A few good tracks (No Turning Back) being the obvious, but not a patch on his previous album Chromophobia.Comment

Re: Gui Boratto - Take My Breath Away
Good album...but not as good as chromophobia was. On the other hand its probably better than anything that has been released recently anyway so its another win for the very talented Mr Gui Borrato who along with Guy J is probably my favorite producer at the moment. The Idiots ARE Winning.
