well today was just as bad as the last but hey... im still alive so its a good thing... as for the trip to nz - if ANY of you make it here, i will take you and show you some sights LOTR was filmed and edited in wellington mostly, and thats where i live - its a great place

take it easy, at times like this it all seems like its getting on top of you! it can all get a little overwhelming

well in typical "it doesnt rain it pours" style, i found out that my 4 year old nephews cancer has spread into his spine and he has to go back to chemo, but more aggressively and has to go to hospital... man, i dont need this now - mind you, it helps put things into perspective a little...

Sorry for the tangent but another album which got me through the same breakup was Third Eye Blind's self-titled album...evidently the bands latest album drops June 23 - "Ursa Major," and is supposed to be excellent. I think you may enjoy both these albums pipey, although I'd be surprised if you don't already have 1 or both.

thansk for the advice MS - i think that the drugs are definately not going to help me - i think it was more of a mate wanting to make me feel better, but twas only chemicals and not reality. When i met my ex, i was a daily user of crystal meth for at least 3 years, it cost me my business, it cost me my friends (my good mates - 1 killed himself, 1 went through rehab and jail basically, 1 is on probation etc) and it nearly cost me my life...

I gave it all up for her in the blink of an eye.

Im not going back there, cos i have alot more riding on life now, but man its so super tempting... as sucky as it is to say so, the pipe doesnt reject you... but the world that goes along with it can seriously make you fucked up.

Definitely don't go down that road again....it won't make anything easier.

Just take it one day at a time and like Kamal said, maybe get out of town with a good friend for a few days, or go and visit family. Surrounding yourself with people who love you will help. 1) its a distraction and 2) it reminds you that there are people out there who care a lot about you and love you.
