Re: Sean Cusick is the guest on Kiss
This set is so magical, this is prog, it's not tracks mixed together, but it's a journey.
Progressive is an attitude, the mentality of the music moving forward
This defines that
Great Q6, I loved it!

I listening to it now, and I'm having a very hard time getting into the vibe of this mix, The track at 36:53 is the first one that has grabbed my ear. Even in this post, most of the recent comments have focused on Digger's set. Is it just me or is the Q6 set not delivering on its promise?Beats are my crack.Comment

Seems like most of the comments have been about Q6's mix imo.A good shower head and my right hand - the two best lovers that I ever had.Comment

I agree, I thought q6 kiss mix was ok. It was no were near as good as the sattelite mix.Originally posted by Kobe

Without rereading the whole thread, it seemed like there were a lot of pre-listen "cool, can't wait" comments about Q6, but post-listen comments are about Digs. What did you think of the mix?Originally posted by skahoundBeats are my crack.Comment

Loved it. It was different sounding and groovy; a nice change from what I've been listening to lately.Originally posted by KobeA good shower head and my right hand - the two best lovers that I ever had.Comment

different it is, things have picked up since the 36 min mark
I'll have to give this one a few more spins before I render a final verdict....Beats are my crack.Comment

I was thinking <at first> it was going to be like his previous Kiss mix to where it was sort of downtempo/chill....
turned out to be bumpy, funky, and a pinch o madness...
good stuff...I wish I could hear him more often. You can tell he puts a lot of thought into his delivery. He's not the type just to play whatever is new...

i think the q6 is fantastic. highly original journey. but remember this is a made for radio mix, so it's purposely not banging or chugging along to, it's more of a listening mix, not simple fuel for the floor. but he does tease you a bit at the end with a hint of things to come...Comment

Re: Sean Cusick is the guest on Kiss
I remember those days too...he also picked out some great records for me a couple times...good to see another fellow Orlandoan that's made it...me on the other hand, I joined the military...bummer....Originally posted by SickBoybest damn news i've heard in a while
CUSICK makes me feel good to see original people like sean rocking it. Especially since he's from Orlando. I remember the days when he worked at Vinyl Frontier picking records out for people. He is blessed musically, i don't remember one record he gave me that i turned down.
Cusick 2nd best thing to come out of Orlando
Backstreet boys being the 1st, hahahahahahahaahaha, i'm just fucking around.
thats all, rock on Cusick

This man needs an Essential mix!!!!!Comment

to add to the cusick comments that are supposedly missing from this thread, i thought the mix was excellent. the man has a talent for digging deep in his collection and pulling out music that's like nothing i've ever heard.
and if he ever got an essential mix i'd seriously weep with joy.Comment
