Re: Danny Howells Full Dig Deeper set @ Freeze Liverpool for Macmillan Cancer support
I'm doing it because my mum is terminally ill with cancer and I need to feel like I'm doing somthing to help a charity who have helped me. Send me your bank details I don't want your money.Last edited by tomofreeze; October 16, 2010, 04:29:29 AM.Leave a comment:

A voice of reason as always
that is the attitude I'm talking about.
No one else seems to have bought up hidden agenda's but now you mention it, I apparently ended up on a mailing list and so did others. It's just the way charities work. If there was nothing it in for you as well you wouldn't be doing it. It's a great PR exercise. Although you seem to be squandering that. And the annoying thing is the charity will be missing out because for some it is just too difficult and they will just be getting it from friends. Which also means it is far more likely to end up in public hands.
Again, great idea, poor implementation .Leave a comment:

Re: Danny Howells Full Dig Deeper set @ Freeze Liverpool for Macmillan Cancer support
youve explained in a nutshell bud thank you.
Their was no hidden agenda releasing it in a different format it was just the easiest way to get it out their at the time. Again it's £2 for a 4.5 hour mix and all the money goes to a charity that affects bilions of people around the world so lay off hey guys.
Yes lee is allowing us to record his set at our night on the 30/10/10

Re: Danny Howells Full Dig Deeper set @ Freeze Liverpool for Macmillan Cancer support
Just his attitude really. If he had worked with us rather than giving bullshit excuses I wouldn't have said anything. Saying it is for charity and it's cheap is not an excuse for incompetence. We come here for the music, not for lessons in converting what is to us obscure sound formats. As I said it's the attitude. Why are you guys giving this dude such a hard time? Its obvious he had no idea waht ogg was and why it converted it to that... he made amends by making an mp3 version... so what gives?
20 minutes taking the time to convert a 4.5 hour howells set for 2 pounds is not that big of a deal guys... should be grateful they are actually releasing it, for a good cause nonetheless..Leave a comment:
