Re: I'm working on a documentary
This fucker is about to see a letter from my lawyer. Spreading hate around the net and spreading slander about me. You hide behind your fake name and no other information, but it's easily found these days.

Re: I'm working on a documentary
fair enough there's a difference between constructive criticism and just slagging someone off because you don't like their idea.. simple as thatLeave a comment:

Re: I'm working on a documentary
yeah...if you are announcing that you are doing something like this...you got to be ready for every kind of praise or insult...you cannot expect everyone to be supportive. So once you do receive any form of criticism you should be able to judge it objectively and pick up on anything constructive and laugh at the rest. Just my opinion anyway...if you don't want to hear what people think then don't post shit. . . as simple as that.Leave a comment:

it's not about ego's it's about having a bit of respect towards a member of this board announcing he's doing something he's passionate aboutLeave a comment:

pumper, I don't see any reason that a fellow [ms] member shouldn't be able to share their interests with the community. I agree with Jeff--regardless of how much art annoys you, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. Please keep the hate off of [ms]Just my opinion...
I'd rather not see [ms] as the kind of place where someone posts something of their own creation and people just dump on the person and essentially say, "That's stupid; you're stupid for sharing it." I understand that everyone will have opinions and that we have a right to express ourselves, but I'd just hope/wish that most of us would have the maturity and kindness not to want to ridicule others if we don't particularly like their mix, documentary, painting, whatever.
Best of luck on your project, Jeffrey.
this person has a habit of acting this way, for whatever reason, but I think it's just to push buttons and get a rise out of people, which obviously is working.
Best of luck with your project Jeff!Leave a comment:

Re: I'm working on a documentary
It's not uncommon for passion projects to be funded by other people who share the same passion. Donating a nominal amount and receiving a credit and a DVD of the film doesn't sound too bad to me.
What if someone was making a documentary on electronic music which includes notable figures such as Digweed, Sasha etc. Would you pay $40 to help fund the project, get your name on the credits and receive a copy of the DVD?
Think about it.Leave a comment:
