^^^ But they are asking other artists. While I don't think there is anything wrong with asking, the timing is a little insensitive. I also think the "piss off if you don't agree" attitude expressed here is a tad unfair. It's people discussing and having different opinions that gets things done in this world.

Btw Jeffrey, if you didn't want this spread over the net, putting up that link probably wasn't the best move.

I also looked through back posts and didn't find anything particularly offensive , and that has got to be worth something with my rep

Ummm people look for funding for movie projects from other ARTISTS all the time. If one person has interest and the funds to dontate, great, if nobody does, great, but ASKING is never wrong.

Just ask highsteppa or anyone else in this industry, it's very common. No harm no foul by Jeff.

Personally I found the project interesting and who knows who else it may also inspire on here to create something similar one day, or whatever.

Just because art isn't important to you, do not assume it is not important to anyone else.

Jeff has been apart of this community for a long time, and there are some people on here that I am sure he considers friends so that is why he posted it. He is not forcing anyone to help him, he is simply sharing something he is passionate about with us and there is nothing wrong with it.

Despite the issues with the economy etc., it is no reason to attack someone or bash something they are passionate about. Simply bite your tongue, leave the thread, and carry on about your day.

    Jeff, what Kassios said.

Pumper, honestly, opinions are great and everything but you don't have to go ape shit on someone just because you disagree with them. Remember, it's very easy being an asshole, it takes effort to be nice. So if you can't play nice, don't open the thread.

And to head over somewhere else and bitch him out is seriously childish. I don't know if you're having a bad time and you're picking on the one thing that ticked you off, but ease off him brotha.
