Does anyone REALLY want music on their camera-phones?

i keep hearing this our that about the camera-phone that will have mp3s and video and all the other bullshit they keep adding onto it. but for what? do people want to rock out to music on their phones? it's not even a phone anymore, it's a camera-phone these days.
will there be some kinda ipod-camera-phone-satelite radio-Hotpocket toaster one day that we all carry around in a shoulder bag.

i'm lost. why can't my phone just stay a phone.

Right now you have to pay a premium for video cameras, streaming television/multimedia content, etc. on your phone -- if you don't want it, don't buck up extra for it.

i wouldnt mind mp3 ringtones. the "real" ringtones are so f'in ghetto, basically someone who has no music recording knowledge at all holding a phone pressed against a full blasted speaker recording. the polyphonic are all corny.
