My FB friends here (?) will know that I'm obsessed with Patagonia, Argentina is where the world ends, truly!

Last SoundGarden apparently had no real programming, it was indeed a lovingly handpicked selection, but Nick just faded one record into the next, which is FINE for radio. Great tunes in there.

Yeah, Ushuaia is pure magic and all is white in that place.
full of landscapes and tranquility.
But Buenos Aires is Buenos Aires,
here is the heart and the magic of the music.
you know what Im talking about.



And I understand why Nick made this beauty.

And I think Nick really loves Buenos Aires.

" Downtime in South America

After our few weeks in Punta Del Este Petra headed north to Mexico to visit some friends and I headed south with a friend of mine to Tierra Del Fuego for my annual weeks fishing on the Rio Grande. It is a very special week for me as TDF is one of the most remote places on the planet. Next stop is Antarctica and you really feel as if you are at the bottom of the world.


Not a tree in sight and the wind can be blowing like a hurricane but it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. The wild life is amazing there, condors, guanacos, foxes and a whole host of birds I have never seen before are unafraid of humans plus the biggest trout in the world make it a trip I love to take and not a four four beat heard all week.



After that it was back to Buenos Aires where Petra and I met up for a week in my favourite city on the planet. We had a ball as usual eating amazing food and shopping in the Palermo district. We also went to an amazing percussion evening in a really cool outdoors venue called Konex. Then it was off to Lima for me to play on Friday night before heading back to Argentina on Saturday for my show in Cordoba which was to be a very special night indeed.

wish he would just expand his mix into 2 hours of minimal goodness... dont really care for his "DJ" type mixes personally..
