Yes and its even more exaggerated here since this is from two different nights.. London was a single show after all

I've seen it first hand in Las Vegas earlier this year. He played at a big festival stage first and then at a smaller club venue right after... completely different vibe/sound.. i was impressed.

I love the comments from everyone, like 'This is not very Diigweed.' etc.

Of course it is Digweed, what people mean is 'the Digweed set that I fell in love with was not like this at all'.

Digweed plays all sorts, listen to him in Ibiza or in Mykanos, or just compare his sets being played early evening with those being played at 4am, they are all very different vibes.

It is the same with Sasha, people listen to his beach sets and moan it isn't driving progressive or enough of a techno vibe. But seriously? If I had flown out to Ibiza to listen to hom play and as the sun sets over the sea and the cocktails comes out he started playing 130bpm techno or progressive I would go and see someone else.

You have to think about the venue they are playing at and the vibe that venue needs.
You don't often here people who are at the venues moaning because they get what is being played at the time.

There are around 15 tracks I adore on this Argentina set, truly magnificent tunes, and they are all the more laid back tracks with a groove, the more techno sounding tunes I don't like half as much these days, unless they are melodic, funky and sassy.

Disc one and two reminded me of Digweed from '93, '94 and '95, pretty special.
Now if that Pachanga Boys track along with Jimpster was not on there is would be perfect, both ruin the flow imho.

    CD 1/2 (Strobe City):

    CD 3/4 (Munted-Ville):

So I'm guessing both of these sets were from festivals?

I didn't find it Sasha-esque at all. It's housey but deep. I dunno, have you heard his GU: HK or SYD? Digweed didn't used to play banging techno. I've always known him for his impactful openers and the tight grooves that just lock you in, I remember walking into Chevron, Melbourne back in the day and knew right away he had come on.

London would follow on very nicely from Argentina. I don't think I enjoyed Cordurba that much, if I remember right it was that summer house sound that's just fluff to me.

^It is 100% Digweed, currently just browsing the tracks, and making some copies for the car. I must admit I didn't enjoy the way CD 1 started, very modern sounding Digweed with more melodic, housey floating on the BPM. Is it me or is he playing or getting acquainted to a Sasha style set. Really warming the crowd with some house-progressive style tracks layering into more tech as we get along in the night. I suppose that's a usual for any DJ these days, however, I must concur listening to CD 1 and 2 of Argentina in the back of my head kept thinking this was a Sasha set, apart from those annoying 'trademark' Abelton effects Sasha throws in there to signify his mixing signature and abilities. But obviously CD 3 and 4 differs from this, alas, we welcome the Tech, and the ravers that stayed on past 1.

In a quint I think more than London or Cordoba Digweed does really highlight his abilities here. Again I point out his versatility, ability to forecast the crowds nature and timing with the night. In a break down I would relate each CD to a period of his contrasting abilities.

First two cd's are amazing, more housey, more melodic and still kicking. It feels 100% Digweed for anyone who knows his sets.

Had the chance to hear this and Howell's Balance consecutively. Went back and heard Argentina CD 1 and 2 a second time. Love it. Not quite vortex madness but not quite fluffy summer house, feels like a deep building set. Will report on Howells in the Balance thread.
