Emo has nothing to do with anything here. Hair straightener? And what is a lee-hotti?

It's the music that changes first, then the dj. Before any dj plays a track in his/her routine it has to get produced right? The two things don't happen simultaneously. You just expanded on my initial point a little bit. What does any of that have to do with being a tool?

My entire reason for posting in the first place was to show my slight agitation with people going a little too far when talking about Digweed's hair and this vortex stuff, not to belittle their experiences.

The wife and I have made sacrifices and traveled to:

    London for Bedrock's 3rd & 6th Birthdays.
Vegas, NYC (2) to see Diggers.
Ibiza 3 times and have seen: Carl Cox, Goldie, Francois K, Diggers, Tenaglia, Lawler.
England: Sasha, Seaman and last but not least... Newland

I'm happy we made the effort.

    pawned or rather Vagabond
Being poor is no excuse for not traveling
thousands of miles to go see Digweed or another
world class DJ break some shite down. Look at all the people
on this board making the treks to NYC, DC, Chicago or TO, for S&D, nut up and experience some audio insanity.
poverty sucks but missing a show like Digweed @ Vagabond
pretty much will have me in a bad mood for the rest of 2008, sometimes, you just have to be there. Big up to Jib for explaining this musical experience.

i blame this ignoranced statement on being young, and you probably haven't experienced a true musical experience. by this i mean going to a club or party or festival, listening to a band or dj (or any musician) create complete bliss with the music they play or create. so again don't hate those of us who have experienced it and LOVE IT.

LMFAO. are you for serious? it isn't a word? hahahahaha no shit dipshit. i used that fuct up word because it seems to fit your brainframe and in that i mean, ignorance is the basis of all hatred. not knowing the true relevance of something and hating it is basically IGNORANCE. something of which i think you possess enormous amounts of.

i sorta recognize your name and to me it seems like you should know my sense of humor this far in to your residence here at [ms], but if you don't thats fine. i don't take your elementary insults to heart. lmao it takes a bit more that GFYS to make my anus secrete.

    /regarding jay fury's post/

    hahahaha

his comments indicate that he has gone out, listened to music that rocks a thousand people, and has been one of the few that have actually had a "spiritual" experience within it. his comments also indicate a night of complete debauchery and fun that hopefully you will experience in your lifetime.

all that said, please excuse yourself from yourself, take a step back, evaluate the "hate" you expressed to me and please enlighten yourself with this thing that brought us all here in the first place:

    MUSIC!

I feel your pain, but bear in mind that if you don't like people talking about DJs like John Digweed and if you can't take people f'in around and joking about things (most of the "vortex" comments were not really serious), then you're probably going to have a hard time around here...cuz that's typically what goes down

Maybe Digweed should call his next Mix CD series VORTEX. Maybe we should all email him until he does.

In all serious though he is fucking brilliant at the moment.

Getting to see S&D three times in one month is just out of the ordinary
by the end of April my brain will throughly cooked, hard wired.
As obsessing, let's see: MS posts the transition shows weekly, has a seperate
thread for his sets, and archives all his KISS shows
No chance of obsession at all.

Now where those damn Vortex shirts
like Dhar's avatar looks it would work for a print.
