OK being that last night was my first experience with JD and the vortex. I can say honestly it was fucking awesome. He played some extremely dark stuff last night. Including this one track that was pretty much just drums and this low pitched voice just saying things I couldn't understand. I MUST GET THAT TRACK!!!!!

If you like stuff like that play Luke Fair's "Blocrock" really loud and pitch up by 3. I heard him drop that in the middle of set once and it brought me to thears out of sheer joy! It was dark & beautiful.
