but still, i would never sell hardware.. same as id never sell vinyl
you cant get the same sounds from software you can get from hardware imo
i'm with steve - sellin gear is a last resort jeff
i sold my decks not so long ago so i could scrape by which is pure dogshit though i'm hoping only temporary
i still own an em1x ea1 and er1 and now have them hooked up together after ages apart (i used to stick the ea1 and er1 in a bag and take them with me when working away) - they have a sound and feel that beats software hands down
in that case yeah let it go - we're lucky to own this sort of gear in the first place to put it in perspective a bit
people say to me "you must be gutted you sold your decks" but although i gotta admit it wasn't great - i look on the bright side - i had a pair of cdj1000s sat on my kitchen worktop every night when i got home for about 3 years which ain't really so bad eh? not to mention they earned their keep playin out - plus all our parties at my house - don't worry jeff
Yeah I felt like crap when I had to finally sell my DJ setup. Now I just use my computer and studio setup at the house to do my dj'ing with. It would be nice to have a real CDJ setup again.
Oh I know bro. No harm at all done. Have a great rest of your week bro. It's not bad up here for the next few days, except for some clouds and a bit of rain, but it's in the 50's so I'm happy about that.
Just wanted to update this. The item is still at my house. The asshole who was supposed to buy it said something was wrong with it and so I got it back from him and even brought over my friend who REALLY knows these ESX's and proved to me that nothing was wrong, just the guy was an idiot. So now I'm in the process of selling it on craigslist.
