Re: I need some Melatonin!
This may sound a bit off but...
I've noticed that the days that I spend most of time in front of my laptop i find it hard for me to go to sleep.
Have you considered , lowering down the hours you are in front of yours and finding something else to do , I mean it could be doing something to your nervous system also messing up your circadian rhythm .Leave a comment:

Re: I need some Melatonin!
I honestly don't know what the hell my problem is...I drank only one can of coke all day yesterday and I didn't sleep the night before and I went to the gym an had a nice workout yesterday...
I had like a 2 hour nap in the afternoon yesterday just so that I could gather up some energy to train...I exercise regularly 3 days on, one day off...I don't know I am gonna go to the pharmacy tomorrow and try and get some advice on what to buy...
I used to have a tactic for falling a sleep and its worked wonders for years...I used to lie in bed and imagine myself doing kick ups. I would concentrate really hard on that and nothing else and I would be asleep very quickly but about 6 months ago it kinda stopped working so the only time I can fall asleep is when I like pass out from exhaustion...
p.s. at least I can eat more this way and probably retrieve some of the weight I lost during the summer.Leave a comment:

Re: I need some Melatonin!
Yah I stream this and always fall asleep:
Listen to music from Nature Sound Series like Mountain Stream (Nature sounds only version), Relaxing Rain Ambience (Nature Sounds Only Version) & more. Find the latest tracks, albums, and images from Nature Sound Series.
Or thinking and listening to these topics puts me to sleep usually within 30 mins:

Re: I need some Melatonin!
ah nice one sir steve. love valerian, it's the only one i use, it always knocks me right out. i usually sleep great all the time, but i'll ever so frequenly use valerian for its great vitalizing and replenishing benifits.
on the other hand, fuck narcotics, treatment with narcotics is like curing by use of snake venom imo. got way over that buisness quickly.Leave a comment:

Re: I need some Melatonin!
Don't forget that there is a way in which the brain can systematically shut down anything you are trying to do to it. If you don't allow the Melatonin to work with you, you are working against it and will never see any results from it. Melatonin is a natural chemical in the body that is released when your bedroom is dark and your eyes are closed. It is what helps you get to sleep. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't get enough in their bodies and it makes it hard to sleep.
One thing that truly helps in getting to sleep and sleeping well, is to meditate before going to bed, as you are laying there, get out your ipod and put on some Harold Budd or Steve Roach and listen to one or two songs and allow your mind to float with the music. Don't think of all the crap that has happened that day. As racing thoughts can really kill your ability to get a good nights sleep. I know from experience, having battled that for a good two to three years.
