My Moonpark

Got there early for Deep Mariano. in fact earlier than I meant to, the phone I rented was showing the wrong time I was really into his music a couple of years ago, and then he seemed to go a bit minimal for my taste. But this night he was playing a really beautifully paced set , I loved it

Danny Howells, I am a big fan of Danny's and his dig deeper set here in Melbourne in January was possibly one of the best ever sets I've heard, I said at the time he seemed to be taking the music a lot more seriously . When he started here I just wasn't quite getting the groove I expect from him, in fact I was saying something like that to someone when all of a sudden it was like a switch was flicked and he was all there !! Was wonderful.!! Btw Don't expect track names from me , I know the tracks , just can't remember the names

But if anyone owned the night it was Hernan I was told he was different in Argentina , and he is !! A bit rockstar , but that isn't such a bad thing. The interaction between Hernan and his fellow Argentines was just incredible. So much pure raw energy !!

I always say I don't like breakdowns, but what I realised that night is that breakdowns have to be exquisitely timed so we maintain the groove, if we stop moving you have blown it guys Hernan's breakdowns are all about that ebb and flow I talk about, although this time more like crashing waves Just amazing !! For those saying there were tracks they wanted to hear which weren't there , I could say that as well, but what would we have wanted taken out to make room for them.??? There is always limited time and he didn't play a single track that I didn't want to hear!!

Were there technical problems when the b2b started?? it just wasn't totally smooth for a couple of tracks. After that it was such a joy to see and listen to two great Djs who obviously have high regard and respect for each other. That last track just blew me away, I was so totally tired and it just lifted me off the floor . I think 99 % of the people stayed right until the end !!

Only negatives were the 1/2 hour wait to get my coat back and the hour for a cab!


I have been saying for years I wanted to go to a moonpark. For me this really was a dream come true. !! So thank you Mariano, Danny and Hernan for making it such a wonderful night..

Didnt expect Danny warming things up considering he is the "guest" but now everything is just perfect imo.. Danny playing an epic warm / set (which i think its dannys best sound) then Hernan playing the main set and then a b2b from both of them, destroying the place

btw not a big fan of Mariano playing for 2 hours but well, my mom could do the warm and its ok so whatever

This time I'm living in BsAs ..... .. but in all other moonpark's with the real ones, sure crossed the river just for that ... [just for that is a bad way to express] ... rather, for all that

the good thing is that there were three times that [for the reason Moonpark], we had John 2 times, and 1 Danny in Montevideo .. 2 days before each event Moonpark .. into a club for only 250 people

so this time, .... may have travel to my country for a new infinite Danny vinylartwork, or a new masterpiecelive of Hernan artinheaven, and then return to the mothership to get the real power ....... but it is not easy to happen
