Re: Oil leak in Gulf of Mexico off coast of LA
Regardless of what the media makes of it (they exaggerate everything in my opinion), it's still a terrible situation and will take a huge toll on the Gulf Coast's tourism, seafood, and oil industries.
The smell was so strong in the air this past Monday.Leave a comment:

from the looks of it, the damage seems to have been exaggerated a little bit. that's just the news agencies saying this.Leave a comment:

^That's what trolls do ffs. They instigate... the joke is on us Americans that fall for RMs antics and semantics all the time... As soon as we stop responding with serious responses he starts talking about Jews or Miroslav, or in this case the Queen of England... hmm wonder why?

They should jam the Queen of Englands big ass to fill the hole since it is her company that fucked it up.Leave a comment:

Re: Oil leak in Gulf of Mexico off coast of LA
I'm wondering out loud here, but I don't think there is any way they can close this hole, except for....
....a small-yield nuclear bomb detonated just over the hole, sealing it up.
Absent that, it's going to be at the very least, WEEKS before anything can be done. And that's too long to wait at this point (on a best-case scenario).
Consider for a moment that BP + Contractors best equipment was utterly destroyed by the massive pressure of that oil coming pushing out. The only real alternative at this point is to 1) get a new rig out there (somehow) and 2) place it over the hole and 3) start collecting the oil coming out. Now try getting someone down there at the bottom, even a roving underwater machine, to accomplish that feat. It just seems....impossible in the near future.Leave a comment:

Yeah and perhaps we would have been better off if it was left as part of the planet. But stable doors and all that .That's all a bit silly actually
It's what we do with oil that makes it all the bad things , if we left it in the ground it would just fine . Bit like uranium.
Btw what is a gaianist.?? Dictionary doesn't seem to know it.Leave a comment:
