Re: involv3r tracklist
I've been listening to involv3r the last 3 days. It's not as deep and dark as I supposed it would be, but it's ok to listen to while driving a car or at a meeting with friends. It has too many vocals, I think. And the sequences are very similar from track to track. Anyways, it sounds good and fresh.

Re: involv3r tracklist
The songs themselves are superb. The flow is just not there imho.
I didn't want it to be banging, I just wanted the tracks to drift from one to the next.
The whole thing is 1h50 mins mixed properly with the tracks playing out, but he has edited the edits to make it fit a 74 min CD, problem with that is it just jumps from one vocal to the next and ruins the flow, plus he has simply slammed a couple of mixes in and around 32 minutes has a mix that is well out of key.
I honestly don't think he has listened to it back.
I have done myself a mix of it, all in ableton, so it is pretty tight, but a different feel to his version.
I posted a link in the Involv3r thread in the Sasha promo thread, have a listen if you can be bothered and see what you think..

Re: involv3r tracklist
I highly doubt it too actually, but we both know there have been many mixes that started out unappealing only to eventually grow on people... unfortunately this isn't really mixed really

Re. the 'flow', it doesn't sound like a mix, more like a bunch of songs sequenced together.Leave a comment:

Re: involv3r tracklist
This. Yesterday, I was listening to "The Light - Panfried". Closing my eyes while enjoying the bassline, I was suddenly swooped back to Twilo. I miss the bass rumbles that would shake your insides. No sound system that I've heard is the same. Even while waiting in line you could hear how deep, crisp and thunderous the bass was.
I am mostly into 90's, early 2000 Sasha. ADD, and the Involvers were not my cup of tea. I wanted to give Involv3r a listen, but after hearing some of the comments here, I'm afraid to.Leave a comment:

Re: involv3r tracklist
After listening to this CD a couple of times I have to say that it´s not as bad a some people here have said. The only thing bad/strange about it is the flow. This is quite shocking when you compare it to the two Involvers before. Not only were the tracks great but the flow and atmosphere they created was amazing.
I think a longer version of this, with longer transitions and pauses in between the Vocals to let them breath would be just as good as the other two.Leave a comment:
