Re: 6 music's rave forever
that's the thing though, it's not - firstly, i was there and these tunes weren't played and nor was he playing the majority of these in '99 let alone all in a row and secondly, listen to the actual mixes - he's clearly looping stuff.
and also - looking on his Facebook page - 'Live on BBC Radio 6 Music for a special Rave Forever Mix. It’s a mix of some of my favourite 90s tracks. Yes they were long but they were worth it. All of these tracks became seminal parts of my sets back then and they still sound amazing today. '

Re: 6 music's rave forever
I think that it may have been recorded on New Years Day of the Millennium, as it will have been the only time that Sasha would have ever played these tunes at that time. Sasha made an impromptu appearance after his gigs 2 gigs at Cream (London and Liverpool) and his Gatecrasher, before him and Digweed flew to America. The funny thing is the amount of bellends claiming that they were at this gig and Sasha played for 6 hours, when the reality was that he actually played for just over 90 minutes. That is the only way that this could be legitimately a Fabric recording. There is no fucking way that this was from one of his monthly Tyrant nights.Originally posted by Jay Robinson;[URL="tel:1249619"1249619[/URL]]nice to hear these tunes again n'all but i don't know why it's labelled as a set from Fabric 99', it's got f all to do with it
I would have preferred a mix from a Tyrant night.Comment

Re: 6 music's rave forever
I think that's it ,as he said on his facebook ,some of his fave tracks from the 90s, I think the BBC got it wrong, obvious to me but I'm liking reading others little stories of when and where they think this maybe from.Comment
