Seriously, relationships are based on comprimise and honest communication. We are all different but it's these very differences that can actually enhance a relationship. We need to allow others to be as they are and in turn they will afford us the same honour. The thing is if she was so quick to label you, judge you, I wonder how many other areas of your life would she have done the same thing. Sounds like she had a problem with you and an even bigger problem with herself.
By the sounds of it, you are a mature and dedicated person in relation to your day-job and indeed to your music. Too many people out there are driven by their work only, which ends up destroying themselves and tarnishing their relationships. Sounds like you made an informed choice and stood up for yourself. btw, my missus doesn't really dig EDM but recognises that I'm obsessed with the shit. Comprimise and communication is the key. It's very impoartant to share quality time with the missus with shared interests, then the EDM can rightly take it's place

I meet my wife on the dancefloor and she is as old school as it gets.
I do not think that i can be with some one that is not into EDM, coz when i go out i wanna go to clubs with the music i like not an R&B bollox.
Also, i guess she will not be able to get with me in the car often as well

The chick I currently like ,I'm not sure she would dig a 2 hour concert of edm , she says she likes electronic but i think she says it just to go with the flow.
I just think that this could become a serious problem along the line, because is just not only clubbing is also listenign searching, and downloading music, going into forums, having time for myself to mix.
and most important thing discussing it .

Well the the girl i lived with for 4 year(the GF before Ms. YOUR NOT A DJ) was a breaks and house dj and was and still is into EDM in a huge way, me and her are both single again and I am goin to New Orleans to spend a week with her. This should at least make me feel good about things.
The recent GF hurt my feelings before and I had enough this time, and then theres the she thinks shes a lesbian thing that pops up every couple months. So FUCK IT. I feel liberated.....Leave a comment:
