Very interesting book, a must read. If you are lazy or dont have time check the National Geographic documentary they made with Jarred Diamond himself, very good too.

Loving Sabotage by Amelie Nothomb

Not her best book, but still a great reading. Heavily recommend some of her books, like Fear and Trembling and La cosmetica del enemigo (dont know the name in English)

Strangewood by the brilliant Christopher Golden, superb fantasy novel
