Maya’s unique blend of deep, techy house and more minimal skewed moments has won her fans from across the electronic music scene. Recent releases have gained support from some of the scenes most highly regarded; Steve Bug, Anja Schneider & Ivan Smagghe to name a few.

Having remixed the likes of Todd Terry, played at hotspots from Berlin to Japan, Barcelona to Bestival, not forgetting the opening of the BBC’s Electric Proms; Maya has certainly come a long way in a short time.

Her talent’s are not confined to just house & techno either, alongside her friend, the multi-instrumentalist and songstress, Lena Cullen (under their ‘She is Danger’ Guise) she has remixed big time acts such as Massive Attack, Gorillaz and Groove Armada… and if that’s not enough she also produces dub-step under the name ‘Nocturnal Sunshine’, Joy Orbison and Scuba notable fans.

2010 has seen releases on 1trax, Loco Records, Elite Records as well as an EP on Dogmatik and our very own Hypercolour to follow.
